Synopsis:
In the shadowy city of Duskwood, Damon Derron, a brilliant prodigy, and his gothic playboy best friend, Zane Cuwait, aren’t just playing with magic—they’re weaponizing it. Born into families steeped in the occult, the two found “The Circle” after arriving at a new school: a gang of fellow outcasts built on the art of demonaltry.
By trading memories, pain and lives for infernal power, they summon demons to harness magic and attempt to seize control of the city’s criminal underworld. But every demonic pact comes at a horrific price, slowly corroding their humanity and binding them to the darkness they believe they can control.
Amongst Damon’s ambitions is Skyla Vauxdale, a soft spoken popular girl who becomes the target of his dangerous obsession.
Meanwhile, Elluise Morr—a brilliant, manipulative straight-A student—wants in on Damon’s world and the power he commands, no matter the cost.
But Duskwood already has kings. As The Circle expands, they spark a violent gang war with the Revsnakes, a boy racer gang led by the formidable and superstitious Rocky Vega. With rivalries boiling over and supernatural forces closing in, Duskwood teeters on the edge of total chaos.
Every sin leaves a stain on the soul. This is the Sins of the Circle.

About the creator:
Hi, I’m Fiona Hackett, the creator of Sins of the Circle.
I’m an Irish artist and writer with a background in animation and digital art. I hold a Master’s degree in 3D Computer Animation from the University of the Arts London, as well as an undergraduate degree in Animation and Motion Design from Limerick School of Art and Design.
Sins of the Circle brings together two of the things I love most: storytelling and 3D art. I create the characters and environments in 3D before combining the renders with 2D editing and illustration to give the comic its distinctive look.
I’ve always been drawn to fantasy, supernatural stories and characters who aren’t easily divided into heroes and villains. That became a major part of Sins of the Circle — an urban fantasy about magic, demons, terrible decisions and the idea that sometimes human nature is scarier than any demon.
The comic is adapted from an original novel I wrote, and creating it has given me the chance to turn a world I’ve had in my head for years into something readers can finally see.
When I’m not working on Sins of the Circle, you’ll usually find me making 3D art, drawing or sculpting,
